The premiere of "Congratulations"

Receiving an email from the staff of MGMT to inform me of the new video "Congratulations" has been such a surprise!

Until now just a few people could see it...but from now on, everybody can. You just have to go to MGMT official website or you can simply press the play button below and enjoy the show!

The song isn't bad at all...a lot better, actually, than "Flash Delirium", which I find being such a bad choice for MGMT's comeback!

The video is nice and it perfectly reflects the 2010 trend: the desert.

I wonder why 2010, more than any other, has been the YearOfTheDesert: movies, music videos, photo shoots and almost everything took place in the desert...have you noticed?!

Exclamation mark!

Hey Guys, I've an important news!

"Congratulations", the new MGMT album is listenable online from the band's website: www.whoismgmt.com .
Do not miss the opportunity to hear all the tracks before eventually buying (or downloading) the whole album!

I've already listened to all the songs and I must say that, despite the non-uniqueness of "Flash Delirium", the album isn't bad at all!

If at first listen it seems nothing special, as you keep listening to all the tracks it reveals new sonorities and rhythms!
We could not expect anything less from MGMT!

Btw, the physical album will be released and available in stores from 13 April!

And then you let go...

The MGMT, whom everybody has loved and appreciated in their previous works, are ready to release their new album, "Congratulations", and they have decided to include a downloadable bonus track, "Flash Delirium", in their website (which is www.whoismgmt.com).

Actually, "Flash Delirium", despite the fabulous name, seems to fail to excite us!

It adds nothing to the style of MGMT and does not touch those same strings that songs such as Electric Feel and Kids were able to touch.

Anyway, although I don't like that bonus track very much, in respect of MGMT's previous works and of what we can reasonably expect from them in the next one, here's "Flash Delirium". Enjoy!
